Let’s look around positively.

L’architecte Le Corbusier a voulu intégrer les volumes et la surface, déterminés par un plan et leur intégration à la nature. Le bâtiment se détache nettement du ciel par une ligne horizontale pure. La façade est composée d’éclaircissements et d’une intégration dans l’environnement.
Les puits de lumière, la composante "lumière", voulus par Le Corbusier dans son œuvre, sont devenus un des nouveaux critères architecturaux du « mouvement moderne ». Pour mémoire, il avait intégré le courant artistique allemand du Bauhaus avec W.Gropius et L.Mies vd Rohe.
Dans la composition extérieure, il est intéressant de regarder le lien intérieur/extérieur et son prolongement. La projection par l’extérieur du « trou dans le mur », voulue par l’architecte, permet à l’observateur de comprendre le « prisme de chacun ». C’est bien une « boîte à image » guidant le regard! La nuit, le cadrage s’éteint pour revenir ensuite avec les lumières, d’autre lumières. La Villa Savoye « posée sur la prairie » présente de multiples facettes, invitant chacun à observer la construction, la nature, les lumières et leurs interactions.
Comme Le Corbusier nous y a invité, faisons un break et regardons la nature positivement, selon nos ressentis personnels.
The architect wanted to integrate the volumes and the surface, determined by a plan and their integration with nature. The building stands out clearly from the sky by a pure horizontal line. The facade is composed of light clarifications and integration in the environment.
The skylights, the "light" component, chosen by Le Corbusier in his work, have become one of the new architectural criteria of the «modern movement». For remind, he joined the German artistic movement of the Bauhaus with W.Gropius and L.Mies vd Rohe.
In the outer side composition, it is interesting to look at the inside/outside link and its extension. The projection from the outer side of the “hole in the wall”, wanted by the architect, allows the observer to understand the “prism of everyone”. It is then an “image box” guiding the eyes! At night, the framing goes out and then comes back with the lights, other lights. The Villa Savoye «set on the meadow» has many facets, inviting everyone to observe the construction, the nature, the lights and their interactions.
As Le Corbusier invited us, let’s take a break and look at nature positively, according to our personal feelings.
